79/365: iPhone art.
I was walking around with my iPhone in hand, when I noticed the reflections of the trees on the glass. I was immediately reminded of this photograph by Severin Koller. So I found a random bike and made this imitation.

This was actually very straight forward, and I’ve been pretty happy with sticking with most of the scan software’s default settings. But I should’ve cleaned every strip with a cloth before scanning them. So, on the current scans there’s a bit more dust than I would’ve liked. But overall, I’m very happy with the result. Will be sharing them soon.

72/365: I developed my first roll of film.

It’s still drying as I post this. And I’m pretty happy and relieved that the negatives seem to have turned out ok and you can actually see stuff. It took me the whole evening to figure everything out and then develop it. And I still wasn’t sure, if I screwed it up during various times during the process. Next steps: dry completely, then cutting, scanning and archiving.

This film is a Ilford HP5 Plus 400, shot with my Nikon FE.

Thanks to Stephan for borrowing me all his gear to do this.

71/365: Soen live at Kulttempel Oberhausen.
Great gig. Enjoyed them live even more than on their records. Their support Lizzard was great, too!

70/365: Drive-by panorama.
Today I’ve been trying to capture a decent panorama from the train while arriving at a station. This was the best result, captured at Köln Messe/Deutz station. I like the floating headless guy. ;-)

On this beautiful day, we met with friends and had some really delicious food. We both had one Laksa – among lots of other things of course – but Nicole had to get a second bowl. Understandably, since it’s one of her favourite dishes and it’s not so easy to get in this part of the world.
