In Gothenburg, a little luck led to a little private presentation of some of the Hasselblad Foundation’s treasures. Librarian Elsa Modin was so very kind and patient to show us a few items from their safe and talk a bit about Hasselblad’s involvement in NASA’s Apollo missions.

As you may or may not know, modified Hasselblad cameras went with the astronauts on the Apollo missions. Most of the photos taken are viewable online! And thanks to matching numbers on the film magazine and on the first photo of that magazine, I was able to look up the exact photos that were taken with the magazine that Elsa presented to us. You can see it on the left on the table.

So that was all pretty special.
