197/365: Caught up with the Bro.

196/365: We’re with this nice gentleman. His name is Rob, a friend of ours we got to know through my brother. He lives on a boat, and he’s kind enough to host us for two nights here in London.
And the boat is great. Not unlike living in a camper van. And we already got to do lots of boat stuff. Immediately after we arrived yesterday, we got to drive the boat to a different spot within London. We went through four locks, cooked dinner on the boat and ate it at a temporary parking place under a bridge. Then after mooring the boat at it’s new spot, we quickly fell asleep in the cabin.

These are pretty common sights all over London.

Police on horses

I love these street maps in London. They are everywhere. And aligned the way you’re looking, they’re super easy to read, and hence getting around town is a breeze.

There’s lots of unhealthy pub food in the UK. Usually even comes with unlimited mayonnaise. Yum!
