Mastodon rocked last Friday in Cologne.

Michael Amott of Spiritual Beggars. Live last night in Siegburg. It was awesome!
…and of course can they perform this live. What was I thinking?

71/365: Soen live at Kulttempel Oberhausen.
Great gig. Enjoyed them live even more than on their records. Their support Lizzard was great, too!

101/365: Satyricon right after their gig at Matrix, Bochum.
Another fantastic show of one of my favourite bands. Almost two hours of pure awesomeness!

108/365: Skeletonwitch at the Underground, Cologne.
1st-person drum-cam. Killer! ;-)

157/365: Freedom Hawk live at the Pitcher in Düsseldorf.
It’s a mistery to me, why we’ve never been to the Pitcher before. But last night we went to see Freedom Hawk and Seedy Jeezus, without being familiar with either of them. And it was awesome! And a small space like the Pitcher almost always makes for a great and intimate atmosphere.
The aftershow beers were appropriatly consumed to more Rock and Metal from the stereo. Success!

171/365: The Skazka Orchestra live at Folkerdey 2015, Ratingen.

173/365: Lamb of God live at Zeche Bochum.
Some killer riffing, drumming and screaming paired with some jumping, head-banging and circle-pitting made for a fantastic night! Simon, Nicole and I very much enjoyed ourselves.

247/365: An energetic show last night by The Vintage Caravan at the packed Pitcher.

274/365: Between the Buried and Me killed it last night as the Thursday headliner of the Euroblast festival in Cologne.
I’ve also seen Soen again. And I got to know a great band called Trepalium.
We’ll be back at the festival on Saturday. This time for the whole day.

276/365: Sleeping musician.

286/365: Opeth live at Historische Stadthalle Wuppertal.
Fantastic concert at a great atmospheric venue. Epic!
(I was still feeling sick that day, but it was much better: no fever any more. But a seated concert like this was still most welcome.)

345/365: Witchtower live at the Magnapop, Krefeld.
Old friends, still rockin’!
