US Threatened Germany Over Snowden, Vice Chancellor Says - The Intercept

German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel (above) said this week in Homburg that the U.S. Government threatened to cease sharing intelligence with Germany if Berlin offered asylum to NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden or otherwise arranged for him to travel to that country. “They told us they would stop notifying us of plots and other intelligence matters,” Gabriel said.

This was actually very straight forward, and I’ve been pretty happy with sticking with most of the scan software’s default settings. But I should’ve cleaned every strip with a cloth before scanning them. So, on the current scans there’s a bit more dust than I would’ve liked. But overall, I’m very happy with the result. Will be sharing them soon.

It’s still drying as I post this. And I’m pretty happy and relieved that the negatives seem to have turned out ok and you can actually see stuff. It took me the whole evening to figure everything out and then develop it. And I still wasn’t sure, if I screwed it up during various times during the process. Next steps: dry completely, then cutting, scanning and archiving.

This film is a Ilford HP5 Plus 400, shot with my Nikon FE.

Thanks to Stephan for borrowing me all his gear to do this.

Great gig. Enjoyed them live even more than on their records. Their support Lizzard was great, too!

Apple Engineer Talks about the New 2015 Macbook

ROFL!

Today I’ve been trying to capture a decent panorama from the train while arriving at a station. This was the best result, captured at Köln Messe/Deutz station. I like the floating headless guy. ;-)

I only now noticed, that the guy from today’s photo shows me the middle finger. Cheeky bastard!
