Keiner emotional zurechnungsfähigen Person kann etwa eine Freundschaft mit NPD-Anhängern zugemutet werden. Diese Freundesfilterung lässt sich aber als Symptom betrachten - je mehr man über Bekannte weiß, um so schwieriger lässt sich das “Wir” aufrecht halten. Die fluffige Gemeinsamkeit am Stammtisch des Sportvereins in prädigitalen Zeiten war auch eine Illusion - genährt durch die Annahme, man sei sich einigermaßen ähnlich. Die sozialen Medien können diese Wir-Illusion gefährden, indem sie die Gnade des Nichtwissens zerstören.

I took this photo at our friends’ place in Ratingen shortly after the beginning of the new year. We had a great time. We didn’t leave until 5am.
And so this scene was very defining for the first day in 2015 and for the condition my condition is in for the rest of today.
