Oh, look! A few souvenirs from NZ.
Last night Düsseldorf (and the whole surrounding region) was hit by a storm. These are a few photos I took this morning. They’re all from within only 200 meters from my home, so you might be able to guess what the rest of the city looks like.
I also had the “pleasure” to drive across town yesterday evening, shortly after the worst was over. I’m still glad I made it without having an accident or getting stuck.
One rainy morning, a few storm drains were blocked at Düsseldorf’s main station.
My “On Key Summit” photo was recently printed and published in the spring/summer edition of the German BMW Magazin. It’s nice to see it printed in such a well-designed environment. It’s also the first photo I got paid for.

I’m still at the hospital until the beginning of next week. But the surgery was successful without any complications and the doctors said the arm will be fully functional again in about two months. That’s good news for me.
I broke my arm last Sunday afternoon. It was a – I believe – pretty unspectacular bike accident. But I fell really unfortunate and now I have a semi-complicated fracture right above the elbow joint.
I’m going to have surgery tomorrow (Wednesday) and will be in the hospital for a few more days. Then weeks of rehabilitation. Sucks a little :-(.
